You and Me

This one is different and for good reason. It is not my song but the song of my very good friend, Steve Behal of behalcatchpole.com artistic fame. Steve shows up periodically throughout this site as a collaborator. I came across this file in GarageBand on my computer dated two years ago. I do not remember him sitting at the microphone with his guitar sounding like a) Bob Dylan and b) like he is making the words up as he goes along. He would tell me he did not make them up on the spot but he would not care that I don't believe him. His meandering words make me laugh. But, his lonely voice and guitar needed some accompaniment, I thought and it might be something that could be considered a bit 'finished.'  So, I invented a beat, the bass line and some guitar instrumental and licks for near the end. I say near the end because I have no idea what he was trying to do AT the end. I have no written lyrics for this (because he made them up, I am sure!) but the chords are the relentless use of C, Am, Dm, G.

The top photo is the mere shadow of Giselle and me on a medieval street in old Cagnes-Sur-Mer, France. Gorgeous place. Below, that be Steve! Ask him about the time he met the Queen of England. Very funny!
